FSX Addon Guide: Scenery

In this Article I will show you some good Scenery Addons.

FTX Global Base

FTX Global Base is by ORBX. It makes the scenery better on the WHOLE WORLD. It just replaces the ugly Autogen from default FSX with new, updated tiles, that fit beautifully into each other. It is a Must Have Addon. 

Here is an image from Innsbruck. Left is the normal, ugly default Autogen and right is FTX Global Base:


When you look at the default Autogen, It looks like Innsbruck is a desert. But with FTX Global, it looks like you had an Addon Scenery for LOWI. Of course, it's not perfect, but one million times better than the default one. Must Have!

FlyTampa

FlyTampa is a Company that makes Scenery for the biggest Airports in the world. They have amazing Vienna, Oslo, Dubai and so on, Sceneries full of quality.



ORBX

ORBX is the King of scenery in FSX. They mostly make small airports that look awesome. You can buy their products seperately, but when you buy the base scenery of the airport scenery, the airports fits PERFECTLY into the sim world.
As you can see, the airport fits perfectly into the world. No different grass colors, no sharp edges. Just Amazing!

TCAS TCAS stands for Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System . FSX AddOn Guide: Miscellaneous

In this Guide I will show you good Miscellaneous, such that aren't Aircraft and Scenery, AddOns. Weather Engine At the moment there are many engines. I personally use this one. Active Sky Next It's a really good weather engine with many features. There is already a new Version I will speak about below, but this version is perfectly ok. The new version just got a few updates. With ASN you get everything, even windshears and wake turbulence if you fly behind other aircraft. Active Sky 16 + ASCA This is the new version, it has got a few updates and also a nice new cloud effect. It now really looks like you are flying through a cloud.  ASCA is Active Sky Cloud Art and creates awesome cloud formations.  Sound and Camera AddOns EzDok Camera A great AddOn.
